1932 Plymouth P.A., a rare and most desirable Coupe, black, 100,241 miles, repainted 20 years ago,engine rebuilt <10K ago, electric fuel pump, new clutch and brakes redone 200 miles ago. Ownership is known from 1960 forward and during these 48 years, the car has had inside storage. Vin # PA 18552, engine # 1626316, Several very tiny blisters in paint at rockers below step plate and in bottom of panels between the doors and hood. A very rare survivor! When did you last see one? Own something no one else has like it! It was purchased from the owner in about 1953 in farming community of White Plains, which is outside of Mt. Airy, N.Carolina. Mt. Airy is home of actor Andy Griffith.
It stayed garaged in Winston Salem, NC until about 10 years ago when current owner (big mopar guy) bought it. Winston Salem, is one hour from Mt. Airy, in northwest N.C.
It has not been exposed to water in last 50 years. Floors are excellent, never in any accidents, fenders are perfect, which is rare, engine has less than 10K on it since rebuild when it was rebored and all new parts installed. For last 10 years it has made one annual trip to West Jefferson which I estimate is 100 miles each way. It has great oil pressure, runs cool, it has new clutch, good brakes, it is "JUST A GOOD OLD CAR".
